About Us

Continued Growth

The Elementary and Secondary Education Division enjoyed another successful year. Our increase in market share in  mathematics, science , family studies and social studies demonstrates the high level of content and curriculum congruency of our titles.

Our Glencoe product line continues to perform strongly in electives cources and the market acceptance of this line provides diversification to the Division's product offerings.

Leading Educational Solutions

We feel that a significant part of our success is due to the large investment we make in subject- and course-specific market research, including focus groups, quantitative surveys, advisory boards, interviews, and classroom testing of draft student and teacher materials. The feedback we receive allows us to tailor our products to the needs and desires of our customers.

The Division's ongoing relationship with Chenelière/McGraw-Hill also contributes to our accomplishments and our ability to present products in both official languages is projected to create a distinctive long-term advantage.

Outlook

McGraw-Hill Ryerson is in a strong position to support a wide range of courses with the broad scope of electives titles offered by Glencoe/McGraw-Hill  and we will continue to grow our Canadian publishing program through the publication of  new titles in science, math, family studies and social studies/history.
